Hi. I'm Lauren.

My work is whimsically awkward or awkwardly whimsical. 

Many moons ago, I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from The Rhode Island School of Design and have been happily creating art for a variety of projects ever since including editorial, ad campaigns, publishing, and products ranging from greeting cards and stickers to activity books and even kid's luggage. I have taught illustration and design at RISD, Montserrat College of Art, Maryland Institute College of Art Grad program, and Watkins College of Art. Currently living outside of Nashville, some of my favorite things include chocolate milk, dogs, and Philly rolls. Clients Include Scholastic Press, Hallmark, LG Mobile, American Greetings, Williams-Sonoma, Cost Plus World Market, Papyrus, DEMDACO, Mudpuppy Press, Workman Publishing, Sellers Publishing/RSVP, Tyndale House Publishers, Little Bee Books, Girls' Life Magazine, Oopsy Daisy, Utne Reader, Nashville Scene, ZUCA, Department56, and MPIX.
